Evaluating module for counting electrical pulses in measuring systems.

Electronic counter LUCA-T with touch display is destined to count the pulses coming from the non-contact or contact sensors. It can distinguish the direction (attribution, subtraction). Read values are counted in three independent units and you can switch displaying of these on the counter display. Units can be set by program for example as the velocity meter, length, total length, number of pieces.

The whole device is placed in a plastic box with IP 66 protection. As standard, the counter is equipped with 3 bushings for the input and output cables. The instrument is equipped with a 3.5-inch touch panel, which is used to display both measured and input values ​​and the operator can enter the values ​​(eg desired presets). For counting pulses, the counter is equipped with two counting inputs F1 and F2 connected to the terminal board of the instrument. In addition, +24 V voltage is applied to the terminal board for supplying sensors, inputs for external reset buttons and outputs. The counter can be equipped with two relay outputs.

The function and operation of the counter is determined by its parameters. These can be changed by factory setting and program settings (number of presets, number and parameters of inputs and outputs, resetting method, supply voltage, 4th bushing) or directly by the user, by setting SETUP (one-way or two-way counting, type of preset, decimal comma setting, the second output setting, the switching time of the preselection relay). The most used is presetting by the operator.
In standard configuration, the LUCA-T is set to three counting units with two 0.4 s long presets.

Electronic counter LUCA-T is suitable for length measuring in  textile, paper and rubber industry together with length measuring wheel OK-III. It is possible to use the counter like approved measuring device – (it can be sealed by metrological inspectotrate after counting constant is set).
